Choosing the perfect wedding venue for your big day is important. The right venue sets the tone for your entire celebration. It can influence everything from your decor, to your overall wedding experience. To help you make an informed decision, we’ve put together a list of our most frequently asked questions about The Enchanting Barn. Here you’ll find essential information to ensure our venue aligns with your vision and meets the needs of your special day.

What is required to reserve our event date at The Enchanting Barn? Do you offer a payment plan?

To reserve a date with one of our all-inclusive collections, we require a $2,500 non-refundable retainer and signed contract. We offer our couples the following payment plan options: monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly payments. Please note these options also depend on how close your selected day is upon signing.

While we don’t offer specific payment plans, you can log into your client portal at any time to make partial payments leading up to your event. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.

A credit card is required to keep on file for any damages that may occur to the facility or grounds. You will receive invoices and contracts through your online client portal, where you can make your payments directly. However, we accept all forms of payment, including credit/debit cards (fees will apply), checks, cash, money order, or cashier’s check. As well as payment apps such as Zelle, Apple Pay, CashApp, and Venmo.

How do I know if my date is available?

From one Veteran to another; The Enchanting Barn offers a 5% discount to all Military. As well as First Responders – Police Officers, Firefighters/EMTs. Thank you for your service!

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

Can we get married in another location instead of the designated ceremony site?

Absolutely! However, please note that if you’d like to have your ceremony outside of our designated area, you would be responsible for providing the tables, chairs, and decor for that set-up. As well as setting up that area and breaking it down.

What is your rain policy?

At The Enchanting Barn, we want to ensure your special day is perfect, regardless of the weather. Our rain policy is designed to provide a seamless transition to an indoor setting if needed.

Can we have fireworks on the property?

The Enchanting Barn offers a fireworks and sparkler add-on to our collections. Due to liability reasons outside fireworks or vendors of this nature are not permitted. All firework and sparkler handling will be performed by The Enchanting Barn only.

What is the cleanup process?

The Enchanting Barn will handle all standard clean-up and trash removal throughout and following the wedding reception.

What are your rules about music?

Music is to conclude by 11 pm on Fridays. And Saturdays and 10 pm on Sundays.

What is The Enchanting Barn’s building capacity?

Our venue’s capacity is 150 people.

Can our vendors drop off or pick up items outside of the rental period?

The Enchanting Barn is booked daily. You must schedule all deliveries during your designated rental period.

Do we have to utilize your caterers and bar service?

The Enchanting Barn has compiled a fully vetted list of preferred vendors for you to choose from. We prefer that you choose from our preferred vendors list as we have already done the legwork for you to ensure the service and food quality, and prices based on our couple’s needs. However, we are open to outside vendors with the exception of bartenders. The Enchanting Barn includes a bartender in your rental package to cover the liability of licensing and insurance under our venue. This approach ensures a safe and compliant event for everyone.

Does The Enchanting Barn handle the catering coordination?

In our experience, our couples work directly with their catering team to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient menu for your event. Our vetted preferred vendors are here to answer any questions you may have. After signing, they will contact you to schedule a tasting and begin your planning process.

Does your venue include a wedding day coordinator?

Yes! We understand that keeping your event organized and stress-free is crucial to a successful and fun day! Each of our collections includes a day of coordinator and wedding planner.

What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

Couples will only have access to the venue at the time listed in your contract. Please plan accordingly.

Do you offer straight tables instead of round?

We have a limited number of straight tables onsite. You can use the extra tables provided by the venue for your gift table, head table, and other needs. We also offer a few additional tables to mix in with the reception seating. Guests will primarily sit at round tables. Our 60″ round tables seat 8-10 people comfortably.

How will the tables and chairs be arranged for my sized event?

During your initial planning meeting our team will discuss your seating arrangements, the details of your big day, rentals, and more. We have several layout options available, and we’ll walk you through the best options for your guest size. In the days leading up to your event, you will have a final walkthrough of events. We hold the planning meeting 30 days before your event to finalize the specifics for your big day. Rehearsals take place the Thursday before your wedding date.

Are candles allowed at the venue?

Yes, you can use candles as long as the flame is completely contained in a candle holder. For safety reasons, tapered candles and any type of hanging candles are not allowed.

Can we hang decorations at the venue? For example Signage, streamers, lanterns, etc.

We encourage our couples to personalize their special day. To make it easier we have placed hooks in specific areas for your decor. If there is anything specific you’d like to discuss, we can do so at your planning meeting.

Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

Yes, there are several options available for out-of-town guests. The closest is the Hampton Inn, approx. 18 miles away and they offer bulk room rates.

Can vehicles be left overnight?

You cannot leave vehicles at the venue overnight. Please be sure to advise your guests of this policy. We lock the gates to the venue at midnight and keep them locked outside of business hours. Uber travels to the venue and is a great option for your guests.

Do you allow dogs on site to play a part in our wedding day?

The Enchanting Barn is pet-friendly, with some specific stipulations. The owner must pre-approve all pets, which are allowed on-site during the ceremony and for pictures. After the ceremony, please remove pets from the venue. All pets must be on a leash and a designated member of your party must be responsible for the pet instead of the bride and groom. Only service animals are allowed indoors and near food.
